Six Minneapolis hotels dominated U.S. News and World Report's annual list of best 10 hotels in Minnesota, followed by hotels in Bloomington, Edina and Wayzata. U.S. News ranked hotels based its analysis of industry awards as well as hotel star ratings and visitor reviews. Topping Minnesota's list is the JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America in Bloomington, which has 342 rooms at its property connected to Mall of America. The other Bloomington hotel on the list, Radisson Blu Mall of America, was ranked fourth.
